SPRING RETREAT
YORK, MAINE
MAY 14-16, 2027
Our 3-day Spring Retreat…
This year's Spring Retreat is all about coming home. Perched along Maine's iconic coastline, just moments from the historic Nubble Lighthouse, our expansive retreat offers uninterrupted views of the Atlantic and plenty of space to relax in solitude or explore the area at your own pace. Mornings begin with coffee overlooking the water as the light spills across the horizon, afternoons are filled with learning and connecting while the evenings unfold slowly with shared meals, salty ocean air, and the kind of quiet only the coast can offer.
Designed for runners of all abilities, this retreat invites you to slow down, honor your body's needs and fill your cup so you're ready for your next goal. Whether you run marathons or are lacing up for your first 5K, there's a place for you here. This is an experience not to be missed.

Kelly Arp is a lifelong learner, community builder, yogi, athlete, and runner. She is a mom of three and proud owner of two wildly energetic golden retrievers.Running found Kelly later in life, and it found her on a beach. A friend's spontaneous invitation led to two long, humbling miles in the sand, and somehow, she was hooked. She bought real sneakers, downloaded a running app, and never looked back. One run became another, which became a 5K, then a half marathon, then a full marathon finish line.
For a while, though, running existed in cycles. A race on the calendar, a training block, then a slow fade once the finish line was crossed. It wasn't until she began working with Sarah Canney and the Rise Run Collective, weaving in strength training and dynamic running drills, that something shifted. The training itself became the joy. And for the first time, Kelly didn't just run. She began to truly own the identity of runner and athlete.
Today, she finds deep meaning in every mile, whether it's an easy loop through the neighborhood or toeing the start line of a marathon. That joy is exactly what she brings to Rise Run Retreat.

Meet Your Hosts
At Rise Run Retreat we believe that we’re better together, which applies as much to our community connections as it does to hosting.
Coming Home
We spend so much of our lives looking outward, for validation, connection, inspiration, the next thing that will finally make us feel whole. This weekend, we're bringing it back home: to the core of each of us. Everything you need is already within you. Sometimes we just need a little jiggle to unlock it.
That's what Coming Home is built around: four ways back to yourself, held together by the belief that the mind and body are never separate, and that none of us are meant to do this alone. We need our people. We need our wolfpack. That's where Rise Run Retreat comes in.
Over the weekend, you'll be invited to come home:
Home to Self - getting honest, and reconnecting to the truth beneath the roles you play, as a runner, a sister, a daughter, a mother, a professional, a partner, a friend.
Home to Body - through movement, breath, and presence, coming back into the body you live in every day.
Home to Mind - where self-talk becomes self-trust, and the mind shifts from critic to ally.
Home to Community - belonging and connection, grown through honesty, shared miles, shared meals, shared truth.
to self, to body, to mind, to community

We believe that running is a transformative act for everyone who chooses to participate. We welcome runners of all ages and abilities. For group runs we divide into pace groups and make sure that no one runs alone. We believe that everyone belongs at Rise.Run.Retreat.
-
Group runs are anywhere from 3-6 miles on varied terrain. At each of our retreats, we plan for a combination of road, trail and rural dirt road runs. For those following a training plan, there are options to run longer when needed.
